With a background in civil engineering, I decided some years ago on a change of career and to move into the field of pain management and injury rehabilitation. Based on my own experiences of injuries from rugby, hurling, gaelic football and soccer, I decided to study neuromuscular therapy as this was the therapy I had found to be most beneficial in the rehabilitation of my own injuries. In the course of my studies I became familiar with the physical therapy modality Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) and was so impressed with the results which were achievable that at my earliest opportunity after graduating I gained my qualification in this field. In 2011 I attended the advanced seminar and symposium on FSM in Las Vegas. I have been in private practice in Dundalk since 2008 and have successfully treated a wide range of new injuries, old injuries and a variety of medical conditions.
I am currently the team therapist for Dundalk RFC.
